This city hotel is located on Republic Square in the heart of Prague, only a few minutes' walk from the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square (both about 5 min). This historic location is also home to the Municipal House and the Powder Tower. The main pedestrian area also starts here (Prague's famous commercial centre, also known as the 'Golden Cross'). The city's world-famous concert halls, theatres, shopping centres, shops, galleries, and restaurants can all be found in the near vicinity, while Charles Bridge and Prague Castle can be reached on foot in 10 min and 20 min respectively. For those in the city on business, the convenient location near the Prague stock exchange and the government ministries, banks, and office complexes makes the hotel an attractive proposition. By taxi, the exhibition area and congress centre are only a few minutes away. It is still simpler by public transport, with a total of 3 underground stations in the immediate vicinity: Staromestska, Mustek, and Namesti republiky, all in a radius of about 500 m. As an example, Prague Castle can be reached in only 15 min by public transport. The family-friendly hotel offers a touch of Italian flair in the heart of Prague. Throughout the centuries, Prague's history has been strongly shaped through close contact with Italian art and culture. Proud of this tradition, the hotel invites guest to spend their stay in the city in this freshly renovated, neo-classical building with the Baroque family crest of the Virgin on its façade, dating back to 1920. Facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a safe, and lift access. There is a public Internet connection, and both room and laundry services complete the offerings.
