ATOL Protection & Package Rights

ATOL License: 11087

When you book a holiday with Holiday Globe, you can travel with confidence knowing that your booking is protected.

What is ATOL Protection?

ATOL (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) is a financial protection scheme managed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). All the flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme.

When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it.

Your Package Rights

Under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, you have certain rights when booking a package holiday:

  • You will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.
  • There is always at least one trader who is liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.
  • You are given an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point where you can get in touch with the organiser or the travel agent.
  • You may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.
  • The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs rise (for instance fuel prices), and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package.
